Tonight we have a mix of classic films and great music.

Headliners Palooka 5 are a surf band who tonight will play a rescore to the silent, sci-fi classic, METROPOLIS .

The plot sees Metropolis as a  home to a Utopian society where its wealthy residents live a carefree life. One of those is Freder Fredersen. One day, he spots a beautiful woman with a group of children, she and the children quickly disappear. Trying to follow her, he is horrified to find an underground world of workers who apparently run the machinery that keeps the Utopian world above ground functioning. What can Freder do to stop it...

To open the evening there will be a screening of Georges Méliès 1904 science fiction adventure Voyage A Traverse L’Impossible” (The Impossible Voyage) with a ‘live’ DJ soundtrack  from Lee Grimshaw head of the Spinout Nuggets Record label.

As well as opening the night Lee will close it and we invite you to join us in the Bar where you can carry on socializing, drinking, dancing and enjoying your Saturday night! Drinks will continue to be served and DJs will keep playing till midnight.
