Possessed by gods?
Off their heads on laughing gas?
The mouthpieces of the state?
Or the ancient world's most influential influencers?

The prophecies of the Sibyls thread through ancient myth. Feared, revered and frequently misunderstood, the Sibyls stood at the crossroads of religion, politics and performance. Their visions promised answers while leaving everyone wondering what they actually meant.

From a mountain in the southeast of Italy to the depths of the underworld, Lucy Lill tells the stories of the women whose words founded cities, brought down armies and caused an epic amount of confusion.

She might know your future, but that doesn't mean she's going to tell you...

CONTENT WARNING: this performance contains references to ageism, implied sexual assault, kidnap, and animal cruelty contextualised within a paradigm of mythic narrative, archetype, and metaphor.
