At long last, THE DEVILS lands at The Cube!

Inspired by Aldous Huxley‘s account of a 17th century satanic-panic (which also inspired the 1961 film ‚mother Joan of the Angels‘), this long-banned film brings together the talents of British mega-auteurs Ken Russell and Derek Jarman in a fever dream of irreligious imagery and social satire.  Boasting career-best performances from the likes of Oliver Reed and Vanessa Redgrave, the film has been near-impossible to see since its release over half a century ago due to it - ironically - stirring up the same kind of furore it set out to critique.  Finally available in its complete form in this ravishingly new restoration, the unholy vision of this cultest of cult films is finally available for all to see!

Relaxed Daytime Cinema (RDC) is a new daytime Cube project, for people who appreciate a relaxed, quieter movie experience on a weekday. We provide RDC for a variety of reasons, including for people who want more space from others, for neurodivergent people and assistants, friends and family.

The Cube provides lowered movie volume and extra lighting in the auditorium. Our bar/cafe has a wide range of beverages and soft drinks at reasonable prices. Tea or coffee, and occasionally also cake, are available for free at RDC. There will always be a friendly Front of House on hand to help.
