Isidora Edwards is a London-based cellist, improviser and PhD researcher from Chile. Moving between thresholds that include the acoustic, amplified, and processed cello and electronics, her musical language questions epistemologies of time, listening, freedom, and pleasure.

Her solo and collaborative performances with fellow improvisers have been presented in a vast number of festivals and venues around Europe, Latin America and the US.

Luigi Marino is a Bristol-based musician whose work explores emergent phenomena involving people, objects, and whatever lies in between their shifting definitions.

An active improviser, he performs on electronic media and percussion, focusing on the zarb, the computer as an instrument mediating human decision-making, and custom cymbals played with bows and extended through DIY portable circuits.

Laura Phillips (b. 1986, Bristol) is a non-smoking, sagittarius, working with 16mm photochemical film processes and field recordings which explores the intersections of visual music, expanded film, and performance. Her work engages with themes of obsolescence, the commons, and information infrastructures.

Her most accomplished feats include climbing Aran Fawddwy and making it to 38. She had played with numerous improvisation musicians and was a key part of Viridian Ensemble, an audio visual improv group. Last autumn she undertook a research residency at the British School at Rome, where she continued her practice through loitering & listening - mapping the pastoral, the sonic, and the shifting hinterlands of the city.

Oliver Brouwer is a composer, improviser, singer and pianist based in Bristol. Over the last eight years he has written and recorded six collections of solo piano works. With each shared, an ever changing expression and response to a personal experience of memory and time, stillness and movement.

He is particularly inspired by the freedom of improvisation, which touches both his set pieces and his expansive and uninhibited improvisations. His performances are touched by a vulnerability and tension through his skill in recreating every piece every time he plays it.

Influenced by his work in film, Joe Charsley-Smith calls on cinematic textures via warped guitar and processed analogue synthesis - inspired by the soundscapes of VangelisDavid Julyan and John Murphy.

He has been performing and recording in a variety of projects such as the band ZALIZO, and collaborating live with musician Oliver Brouwer, in addition to composing scores for short films and video projects for over a decade.
