ArtWank presents Double Feature from Art Wank.

Duo Bogof present It’s a Kinda Magic!

The Duo Bogof are a fictional cabaret double act comprised of a low rent magician and his ex-wife assistant. White rabbits, top hats and abracadabra gestures all feature in their shows, but a soiree a la Bogof contains very little traditional stage magic.

This is because they are not merely magicians, they are Cinemagicians!

Using combinations of pre-recorded video and live action, Duo Bogof pull the audience into a parallel universe where fantasy and reality are not only similar, they are completely interchangeable.

Real bodies, ghosts and entities that seem to be both, populate this realm, weaving an illusion of theatrics, split-second timing and visual loop the loop.

Duo Bogof are "The Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee of tech-savvy performance art, mixing light-fingered vintage variety schtick with mind-bending live-feed wormholery. Expect bespoke trickery and brand new turns. Think Tommy Cooper meets Jorge Luis Borges." Ben Walters, TimeOut

It’s a Kinda Magic is the first full length show by Duo Bogof, and will be a bespoke creation, made especially for The Cube.
