Lisa, a sports photographer, has gone missing. She was last seen photographing rural football stadiums in villages across Georgia. Her father, Irakli, embarks on a journey in search of her, with the help of Lisa’s mysterious best friend.

In football, a “dry leaf” shot is one that falls unpredictably, its trajectory impossible to read. Alexandre Koberidze’s latest film follows a similar arc: unpredictable, quiet, and mesmerising. Shot on an old Sony Ericsson phone, the film transforms Georgia’s plains and mountain regions into something otherworldly, blurred, intimate, and beautifully strange.

Set to a haunting score by the director's brother Giorgi Koberidze, Dry Leaf is part mystery, part road movie, part meditation on absence. A bold and tender piece of contemporary cinema.

Doors open 30 minutes before advertised start time. All film screenings are ad-free and 18+ unless otherwise stated, and start with no more than a 10 min selection of trailers.
