Two pricks fight the mob in this exemplary crime thriller.

Damiano Damiani (great name, right?) directs this poliziottesco film about Captain Bonavia (Martin Balsam), an anarchist cop (anything was possible in 70s Italy) fighting corruption by doing lots of corrupt things. Will fighting fire with fire work? Traini (Franco Nero), the idealistic DA, doesn't think so and a battle of wits, morals, and guns begins that unfurls a web of corruption inhered in Italy's very foundations.

Slightly bizarre and very bleak, with two gripping central performances and an extra slimey turn from Luciano Catenacci that will get your blood boiling, the rage in this film is palpable. If you hate real estate development, this is the film for you!

Doors open 30 minutes before advertised start time. All film screenings are ad-free and 18+ unless otherwise stated, and start with no more than a 10 min selection of trailers.
