From sell-out tours to a critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival run Nick enters his third decade as a performer with a vitality that could put younger musicians to shame. It is no surprise that artists and producers as diverse as Squeeze, Lana Del Rey, Newton Faulkner, Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), The Levellers, Jakko Jakszyk (Level 42, King Crimson) and legendary producer Tchad Blake have collaborated with him. Although commonly placed within the 'folk' field this is not a man easily pigeonholed into existing musical genres; Nick is very much blazing his own trail. A habit that won't surprise fans of his father, Roy's, work either. Tonight in the intimate seated auditorium of the Cube he will present A Wiltshire Tale, a play, that he has written himself.
A Wiltshire Tale is a journey through Wiltshire’s history, landscape and wildlife. Depicted through spoken word, poetry and live music.

During the evening Nick will perform two sets for us of around an hour each. The first of these will begin at 8.15 (doors at 7.30) when he presents A Wiltshire Tale. The second will concentrate more on his music.
