Trying to make amends for her past as the ultimate problem child, April Burns has offered to host an elaborate Thanksgiving dinner for her surburban clan in her grubby Lower East Side apartment. Her attempts to create an unforgettable feast goes awry- and as her weary family make their way to the city from suburban Pennsylvania, April must endure a comedy of errors - and must rely on the kindness of strangers to pull off the perfect meal.
