Nanoplex celebrates the 50th anniversary of The Jim Henson Company with a screening of Henson classic The Dark Crystal.
This dark but wonderful children’s movie follows Jen and Kira, two young Gelflings who are the last of their kind, as they try to fulfil the prophecy of the Dark Crystal. The Dark Crystal, a source of Balance and Truth in the Universe, was shattered in another age, dividing the world into the wicked Skeksis and the peaceful Mystics. The Crystal must be healed, or darkness will reign forevermore. Will young Jen's courage be any match for the unknown adventures and obstacles that await him? A masterful live-action fantasy starring some of Henson Studio's most imaginative creatures.
