As always we close for a wee while this summer for maintenance. Unlike previous years when all we did was give the place a general spruce up, this year we're doing much more, because the building belongs to us now, so we can.  A treat for your eyes - a new cinema screen and new auditorium lighting rig. For your ears - up-graded cinema sound system with new surround speakers and a new live PA system with digital sound desk. For your arses - our lovely old seats are getting re-upholstered with super comfy seat padding. For analogue nerds we're also upgrading our 35mm projection equipment, replacing old Kalee 35 with 2 x Kinoton FP30D's. This means we will be able to access the BFI's catalogue of prints. Bogs will remain pretty much the same though.
