The latest film by American indie pioneer Richard Linklater (Before Sunrise, Boyhood) is a spiritual sequel to his 1993 cult hit Dazed and Confused. Set over the weekend before the first day of freshman year, this raucous ensemble comedy chronicles the budding friendships and shenanigans among members of a baseball team at a Texas university in 1980, as they make their way through the various social strata of college life. Featuring a vibrant soundtrack that includes songs by Van Halen, Blondie, and Cheap Trick, Everybody Wants Some!! finds Linklater at his most hilarious and infectious.
