Hellfire salutes the king of 70s sci-fi thrillers - Michael Crichton. Our main feature is his 1973 début Westworld, the story of a futuristic luxury resort populated with lifelike androids.
James Brolin and Richard Benjamin play Blane and Martin, two tourists who visit the Delos resort, facing a choice of three experiences - Westernworld (a lawless wild west frontier town), Medievalworld (a 13th century European castle), and Romanworld (decadent Pompeii). For 1000 dollars a day, guests indulge their every violent and sexual desire in safety, with the robots programmed to pleasure the humans and lose any battles.
When Blane is bitten by a robot snake they realize all is not right. Cue mass android malfunctioning and guest-slaying, with Martin pursued relentlessly by robotic gunslinger Yul Brynner.
Hang around for a second dose of sci-fi, and Hellfire DJs will playing vintage futuristic sounds in the bar.
