Writer Charlie Kaufman (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Being John Malkovich) teams up with Duke Johnson for this darkly comedic stop-motion animation.

Husband, father and respected author Michael Stone (David Thewlis) is crippled by the mundanity of his life. After heading to Cincinnati on a business trip to speak at a convention of customer service professionals, he bumps into Lisa (Jennifer Jason Leigh), a socially awkward baked good sales rep who may or may not be the love of his life. 

Kaufman is on form with this beautifully made introspective tale about loneliness, love and the banality of life.
