Basically Lassie Come Home meets Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, but much better than that sounds. Filmed with a cast of 100 dogs and featuring staged scenes of animal cruelty, director Kornel Mundruczo has crafted an ambitious, visceral opus, rightfully earning plaudits at Cannes, including the Un Certain Regard prize, as well as the Palme Dog for best four-legged performance. It's far more than just another animal apocalypse movie.

When young Lili is forced to abandon her beloved dog Hagen, they begin a dangerous journey back towards each other. Persecuted and incarcerated the unwanted, unloved and so-called 'unfit' dogs of Budapest (essentially a metaphor for the underclass) rise up under the leadership of the headstrong Hagen, to take over the city and wreak a terrible revenge on their two-legged tormentors.

Buy advance tickets (no need to print as we keep a list on the door)

Please note that the box office opens 30 mins before the film start time. There are no ads, only a couple of trailers so please arrive with enough time to buy/collect your tickets.
