Richard Linklater has created something truly special with "Boyhood". So in case you missed it last summer, or if you just wanted to see it again we thought we would give you (and ourselves) another chance to see it on the big screen.
The film chronicles a family over the course of 12 years, with the actors reprising their roles through the progression of time. At the centre of the story is Mason (Ellar Salmon), who with his sister Samantha (Lorelei Linklater), makes the journey from childhood to adulthood before our eyes. Starring Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette as Mason's parents "Boyhood" charts the rocky terrain of childhood like no other film has before.
This beautiful film is both a nostalgic time capsule of the recent past and an ode to growing up and parenting. It's impossible to watch Mason and his family without thinking about our own journeys. Ambitious, unforgettable and really like nothing ever seen before.
"Linklater’s defining cinematic statement" ★★★★★ Little White Lies
