Radical Formats: A Celebration of Super 8
Our exploration of radicalism is saluting Super 8 as a form of film making anarchy and resistance with a day of screenings and live events. Film collective Screen Bandita will give new life to box of memories while the São Paulo Short Film Festival will present a daring double-bill from their Counterculture strand, a retrospective of some of the most ingenious and provocative Brazilian film makers from the 70’s, preceded by Single Shot (Tomada Unica), a creative exercise in Super 8, made by guest artists using a marginal concept as their source.
