Our exploration of radicalism is saluting Super 8 as a form of filmmaking anarchy and resistance with a day of screenings and live events. Film collective Screen Bandita will give new life to box of memories while the São Paulo Short Film Festival will present a daring double-bill from their Counterculture strand, a retrospective of some of the most ingenious and provocative Brazilian filmmakers from the 70’s, preceded by Single Shot (Tomada Unica), a creative exercise in Super 8, made by guest artists using a marginal concept as their source.

Do you have any spools of 8mm film or old slides gathering dust in the attic? Bring them along and we'll project them for you! And if you have any old photographs you'd like to share, come and display them in our pop- up gallery.
