Derby Crazy Love takes viewers inside the adrenaline-filled world of women’s roller derby. Meet Smack Daddy, Suzy Hotrod, Raw Heidi, Kamikaze Kitten, Bonnie Thunders and other badass warriors who are changing how we look at women in sport and femininity, one booty block at a time.

Maya Gallus and Justine Pimlott’s newest documentary takes viewers into the heart of the emerging roller derby phenomenon, a vibrant DIY community of third wave feminist empowerment.

Bristol Roller Derby will be at the screening in full force – find out about the many ways you can get involved with roller derby in Bristol with a short presentation and Q & A session from skaters, coaches, referees and non-skating officials.  Want to play but can’t skate? No problem – we’ll have representatives from Drop In Derby on hand to talk you thorough how we can get you rolling.

After the film there will be awesome tunage provided by our own Chick Dastardly for your entertainment as you browse two of the staples of any roller derby event – the merch stand and the cake stall!
