ArtWank presents Double Feature from Art Wank

Holestar presents Sorry I'm A Lady

Post feminist and cult queer icon Holestar, “London's favourite Tranny with a Fanny” (Time Out London), celebrates ten years of international entertaining, showing off and gender bending with her biographical one wo-man show.
Exploring her unconventional showgirl biography, the full length show covers her time in the British Army, mental health issues, life as a Professional Dominatrix, fine art student, international pop star, DJ and writer through song, storytelling and humour.

Holestar is a biological woman, performing in the guise of a Drag Queen. Borne out of frustration with the misogyny surrounding drag queens, her aim is to reclaim over the top campness and fabulous femininity to the female body.
Blurring boundaries between the avant-garde and mass entertainment, pop culture and the underground through music & performance.

Dusty Limits presents PSYCHO

'They called me mad, I called them mad, and damn them, they outvoted me' - Nathaniel Lee

Dusty Limits, cabaret legend and relentless self-talker, presents a brand-new show dedicated to the pursuit of joy and truth. Featuring 11 original songs written with Michael Roulston, with a couple of quirky covers thrown in for good measure, Psycho celebrates the outsiders among us, and questions whether we're really as crazy as the world would have us believe. It is scathing, compassionate, hilarious and provocative; songs of love and lunacy delivered with exquisite poise and a sense of the absurd.

Dusty is noted for his powerful voice, three-octave range and brilliance as an interpreter of song, especially the repertoire of the Weimar era, the works of Brel and Weill, and such songsmiths as Bowie, Waits and Mitchell. He is also a hugely experienced compère, winning the London Cabaret Award for 'Best Host/Compère' in both 2012 and 2013, and he has taught his workshop, 'The Art of the Compère' in the UK, Eire and New Zealand.

Your host for the evening is Ophelia Bitz, producer of ArtWank! porn salons and cabaret provocateur du jour, mon amour. She has shared stages and screens with Derren Brown, The Tigerlillies, The Puppini Sisters and The Dresden Dolls.

"Bitz may have the voice of an angel but she also has the mouth of a filthy gutter-slut" Time Out
