I arrived at the People’s Drugstore, such as it was in the midst of time.
“Has anyone seen THE VOICES OF KWAN or FOEHN, or maybe PREGANT?” I asked dissolutely. “They were recording stars for SWARFFINGER ten years ago, and I was told somebody here might know where they are.”

“No,” said the old man with the white beard behind the counter, resolutely, “they’ve been here and gone. Maybe if you go down to the first fork in the road and turn left and then when you see the big house painted all over green and turn right and left and go by the railroad tracks and stop at the ethnic-looking water tower where once many years ago GONK and RECEIVER got stranded dissolutely – maybe if you do that…”

“I feel unresolved,” I said unresolvedly. “Perhaps someday I will feel resolved. Perhaps someday I’ll find THE VOICES OF KWAN again and hear some new songs.
