Vancouver-based electronic/ambient wizard Scott Morgan, AKA Loscil, is a labelmate of such luminaries as Grouper, Labradford, Tim Hecker and Charambalides. With several acclaimed albums on Kranky and Glacial Movements Records, his intricate, detailed ambient compositions and drones are often augmented by live piano, cello, xylophone and other instrumentation.
