Ditch the shortbread and leave the white heather and tartan tinted spectacles at home... this is an alternative celebration of the radical bard and his place within Scottish culture. We'll be performing a dramatized burns supper with a difference,screening a selection of Scottish short films and doing a live reading of Tam o Shanter with accompaniment from our very own Cube Orchestra. Pogo and reel into the wee small hours afterwards with DJs spinning the finest Scottish post-punk/indie/alternative/electronic and disco sounds.
There will be a special prize too for the best designed D.I.Y kilt [the more outrageous the better] and complimentary Haggis flavoured nibbles and a glass of Scotland's finest on arrival [IrnBru].
