Beautifully shot and deliberately unsentimental portrayal of a remote village in Greenland. Niaqornat’s 59 residents are in danger of relocation should the population continue to fall. Lars is the only teenager, he isn’t interested in hunting and it is the last place on earth he wants to be. For others it is paradise or simply home. A compelling and heart-warming study of lives in transition, reflecting the pressures faced by many small communities.
