The great golden roar of the 1920s hits the Cube with Luhrmann’s opulent and anarchic adaptation of Fitzgerald’s wondrous novel about young hedonists with liquid moralities. Falling from one extravagant party to the next, the sensual Daisy (Carey Mulligan, looking quite exquisite, naturally) finds her life irrevocably altered by the arrival of the mysterious Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio).
Wednesday evening will be as part of a double-bill with a live swing jazz set from The Big R Big Band beforehand.
