London club night 'Nothing is...' is upping roots from its Dalston home and having a one-off special at Bristol's Cube
Cinema on June 8th.
Expect an eclectic mix of psyched out sounds from resident DJ's; Cage & Aviary (DFA / Internasjional), the crate diggin' legend that is Cherrystones (also rightly known as Godsy), Rik Motor from Bristol/London based record label Rocket Recordings and someone they call 'Little Dirty'.
The night is a celebratory gathering for Chris from Rocket Recordings 40th, and apart from 'Nothing is...' in the bar there are some very special live acts performing in the cinema itself.
Starting the live procedings is Anthroprophh, the new project by Paul Allen from Bristol legends The Heads and his backing band, the mighty Big Naturals. Then we have Invada records Thought Forms who are having a massive year after the success's of their monster second album Ghost Mountain. Then finally we have the London based Rocket band Teeth of the Sea who's third forthcoming album MASTER is being released onto the unsuspecting world in the Autumn.
