In creating a space outside the commercial cinematic environment, the Bristol Radical Film Festival screens some of the most socially and politically engaged documentary films from around the world.

In the wake of the recession and the unnecessary and unjust attempts to make ordinary people pay for it, we are seeing an explosion of protest, resistance and solidarity. As revolutions sweep the Middle East and strikes and revolts explode across Europe, more and more people are standing up to say ‘enough is enough’.
