A shy English sound engineer (Toby Jones) takes up a job offer at an Italian horror studio and is slowly consumed by fear and paranoia as life starts to imitate art. Peter Strickland's stylish chiller is a love letter to 1970s giallo horror, with splashes of dark humour and a suitably retro horror soundtrack by Broadcast.
Showing alongside will be acclaimed neo-giallo short film Yellow, with the film's director, producer and lead actress in attendance for a Q&A.
DJ action afterwards from legendary Italophile (and Yellow soundtrack creator) Antoni Maiovvi, and five-minute silent film foley action from the Cube's resident cabbage-choppers and coconut-clashers too.
