Returning with a new album for Southern Records, Boduf Songs aka songwriter Matthew Sweets, expands his range as a musician and composer. Previous acoustic lo-fi songs are incorporated in to a more progressive sound, utilising samples, electronica and electric guitar. A very welcome return to the Cube.

Also chuffed to have Bristolian, Robin Allender on the bill. Having played with many different artists including Warp records' Gravenhurst, and Kranky's Felix, Allender will tonight be playing his fine solo material. Expect melodic, finger-picked folk, something akin to Elliot Smith, Bill Callahan or Jim O’Rourke.
