God Bless America sees comedian Bobcat Goldthwait's disdain for America's shallow celebrity culture reach fever pitch Frank (Joel Murray) has had enough of the dumbing down of American society. Divorced, recently fired, and possibly terminally ill, Frank truly has nothing left to live for. He buys a gun, determined to do in those he deems deserving of death (racists, homophobes, the cruel, the intolerant and the greedy) starting with some particularly obnoxious reality television stars. The equally batty 16-year-old girl (Tara Lynne Barr) who witnesses his first murder joins him in his killing spree as they take to the road, ridding America of unpleasant people.
