Fear of Fiction is Bristol's festival of new music, cinema and visuals with vintage / record fayres over 9 venues with 11 stages, working with new music institutions such as ALCOPOP! RECORDS, ARTROCKER MAGAZINE, ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL, BBC INTRODUCING, BEAM, BIG SCARY MONSTERS RECORDS, FENCE RECORDS, GENERATOR, GOLDFLAKEPAINT, HOLY ROAR RECORDS, INVADA, THE LINE OF BEST FIT & THE TIPPING POINT.
Fat Paul of Invada Records haphazardly throws together a night of music and film for the Fear Of Fiction Festival... DRONE SOUL will be taking the stage for their debut performance, the band features Rich Beale (Don Mandarin, Head, Pregnant), Rat (Receiver) and Rob Merrell (Roni Size, Sheep On Drugs, Mouth). ANTHROPROF will be stripped down to a duo featuring Paul Allen (The Heads) & Gareth Turner (Big Naturals), they will be abusing tone generators and providing a soundtrack to a film of forgotten Bristol that Paul has edited together. AUDEN will be playing a short set to a John Minton edited film. DEEJ DHARIWAL (Thought Forms) promises to provide ethereal noise. Selected Invada film will be shown in-between the performances.
