(Saturday 14 July / 8.30pm / £6 advance, £7 on the door)

Amalgam brings together five Bristol musicians of different backgrounds for a live collaboration. In various combinations throughout the night the musicians may create sounds that cross through electronica, noise, free jazz, dark ambient, musique concrète and dubstep. Or they may not. Be part of this unique experience where the unexpected happens.

H (Héloïse Thibault) is a French musician who uses electronics and tapes to create blissful drones and ritualistic rhythms. She also runs the record label Zamzam Records.

Sam Muscat is a drummer who is most known for his playing in the Lund Quartet. As well as providing a jazzy foundation for this group he also likes to create bass-heavy dub rhythms.

Skjølbrot (Dan Bennett) uses laptop and guitar to create sounds that combine field recordings with electronic drone and dark ambiences.

Dave Perry is a saxophone player who has been active in Bristol for a long time. He is an accomplished improviser who is known for his playing in the groups Limbo and Spaceways.
