Hellfire Video Club Presents Christmas Consternations

Fri 16 December 2011 // 20:00

(Fri 16th / 8pm / £5 / over 18s only)

The Hellfire Video Club returns for the festive period with a double-bill to keep you in chills and thrills through those long winter nights. In true seasonal fashion, we'll be serving up a couple of Christmas turkeys for your delectation, with DJs in the bar digging right down to the bottom of their sacks to lay on a feast of aural atrocities for those who prefer to be naughty, not nice.
'Tis The Season To Be Sorry, so our main feature of the eve will be "Christmas Evil" (1980), described by John Waters' as "the greatest Christmas movie ever made". This lesser-spotted film features Harry - a Psychologically disturbed mummy's boy-cum-deranged Santa wannabe, who goes on a murderous rampage after watching mummy kissing Santa Claws. This will be followed by another suitably mental festive film - possibly involving Elves or something.

As always, the Hellfire DJs will be in the bar playing you some freaky B-Movie muzak. No idea how they're going to wedge a Christmas theme in there though - Maybe a Bollywood version of "Jingle Bells"?
