In an isolated mountain town on the borders of Turkey and Armenia, a stranger, more like a wild creature than a man, Kosmos (Sermet Yesil), drifts into town with a blizzard. He is magical and childlike and dangerous, part healer, part fool. He seduces the women of the town, robs the shops and is feared by those who cannot understand who and what he is within the conventions of the town order. This is a dark and romantic tale of fantasy and folk-lore, with stunning shots of the bleak remoteness of the mountain landscapes.
