James Brewster's genre-defying current output could at a push be summarised as 'electronic pop meets experimental sound-design'. Now based in Malmö, Sweden, he is back to the UK to celebrate the release of fourth album 'As a hovering insect mass breaks your fall' (Make Mine Music). This record is the first under his given name, following a string of acclaimed releases under the Mole Harness moniker. It also features vocal contributions from among others Nick Talbot of Gravenhurst and Albanian opera singer Egzona Gervalla. Two other singers from the album, Men Diamler and Suzi Gage, join him onstage tonight, alongside Guy Bartell (Bronnt Industries Kapital). This performance promises an immersive sonic journey with potential stopping-off points being violent insect swarms, slowed-down synthpop, cavernous vocal drones, blissful noise-walls,
densely-processed guitars and enveloping field-recording layers.
