Party Of Twelve: Bakers Dozen - With Infinite Livez

Sat 9 October 2010 // 20:00

(Sat 9th / 8pm til late / £5 advance, £7 on the door)

Cube birthday party to celebrate twelve years of baking up cracking fine events - featuring very special guests INFINITE LIVEZ.

Not your average rapper. This Gameboy programmer, comic book artist, and soft toy lover makes wonky trax the maverick way. Veering from surrealist hip hop (released on Big Dada) to improvised jams and hypnogogic cut ups he has the SOUL and somehow comes over like Funkadelic fronted by Wesley Willis. With a killer live show, he knows how to amp up any party.

Also tonight we will bring you Black Alien Sabbath. A special one off
presentation of a new take on Deep Blue Funk Films synchronicity events which included Radio Head vs The Matrix and MassiveCaligariAttack as well as the infamous Dark Side Of Oz. A synchronized experimental horror sci-fi extravaganza employing ALL the Sabbath albums up to 1979, the year of Alien. The DJs and controllers will mix in the simultaneously playing albums Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Master Of Reality, Vol 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Sabotage, Technical Ecstasy and Never Say Die to carefully chance-score Ridley Scott's dark and menacing sci-fi scare classic Alien.

DJs and dancing in the Bar. Baked goods throughout the night.
