Babycinema Presents Synecdoche New York
-
Wed 23 September 2009 // 11:00
(Wed 23rd / 11am / £2, babies free)
(Charlie Kaufman / USA / 2008 / 124 minutes / Certificate 15)
Having written Being John Malkovich and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Charlie Kaufman's hotly anticipated first outing as director is a singularly inventive affair. As rewarding as it is dazzlingly perplexing, it is the story of theatre director Caden Cotard (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and his drive to produce his master-work.
The watching-with-baby screenings are for parents/carers with young babies (up to 1 year) to enjoy a movie in the company of other parents and their
offspring. We follow the weekly film program so you don't loose out on the latest blockbusters, foreign language films and classic favourites. The Cube provides an area for prams, baby changing facilities, lowered movie volume and extra lighting in the auditorium.
There will always be a friendly Front of House on hand to help.
