Babycinema Presents Drag Me To Hell
Wed 1 July 2009 // 11:00
(Wed 1st / 11am /£2, babies free)
(Sam Raimi / 2009 / USA / 99 mins / cert 15)
Sam Raimi's highly anticipated return to horror doesn't disappoint. Alison Lohman is the finance clerk who turns down a request for a loan from an old gypsy woman and is subsequently cursed by the spirit of an ancient demon. Evil Dead fans shouldn't pre-judge the film on its 15 certificate. There are plenty of gross out moments and Raimi's skill gets old fashioned scares from what isn't seen. It's a rollercoaster ride, from the intense opening scene to the shocking finale, you'll squirm, shriek and laugh out loud.
The watching-with-baby screenings are for parents/carers with young babies (up to 1 year) to enjoy a movie in the company of other parents and their
offspring. We follow the weekly film program so you don't loose out on the latest blockbusters, foreign language films and classic favourites. The Cube provides an area for prams, baby changing facilities, lowered movie volume and extra lighting in the auditorium.
There will always be a friendly Front of House on hand to help.
