Cube Party Night ! Raise The Roof (and Some Funds)

A very big FUND RAISER and roof raiser. The Cube pulls out all the stops to raise funds for a very good cause and bring together music bands, funny turns and films for a very special night.
The Cube does not do many out and outright fund raisers but one of its dear friends has the Motor Neuron Disease and is raising money for the Charity as well as striking out on a number of creative missions and pursuits in his own very defined and unique manner.
All proceeds are going to the Motor Neuron Disease Association. Their website http://www.mndassociation.org/ is a good resource if you want to find out more about the condition.
So what is being offered up is nothing short of a classic (or defiantly and gloriously oddball) Cube Line up of West County music via sweet, sweet songs, eccentric outbursts and thumping rhythms, quality cabaret, off duty dance and party DJs. Totally Bonzo, Gonzo and Bingo.
MINOTAUR SHOCK unveils his new live line up, cracks off some finely tuned electronics tracks that somehow come across as the Soft Machine doing Kraftwerk covers or Air if they liked a bucolic mushroom brew. Beauty.
MR DENNIS TEETH is a thrill and spills debonair purveyor fabulous Musical Saw and Ukulele playing. He was recently featured as an act on Graham Norton's "When Will I Be Famous?" on BBC 1. His many appearances tonight will combine nonsense and nostalgia to create the finest blend of musical mayhem there is.
I KNOW I HAVE NOT COLLAR collect tiny moments of life and string them together in a unabashed style that is the most delightful patchwork quilt of song, chaos and charm. Following on in the traditions of Sarah Records, Herman Dune and Felt IKIHNC are most ace.
DAGGER BROTHERS should be at all parties. Anarchy distilled into a very queer and queasy mix of 80's electro pop songcraft, John Maus-like-mentality and killer choruses. Dance and wiggle to these nits.
VI brings could do a cover version of a nursery rhyme all do it in bossa nova style. Who knows....
PLUS the ultimate in feet and head tapping DJ skills from Mr Hopkinson.
