(Fri 20th / 7.30 pm / £10 tickets include a raffle ticket and home made cake)
A night of entertainment with a serious cause at heart, this event is the brainchild of a diverse selection of musicians, artists, poets, speakers and storytellers.
We have come together to create greater awareness and understanding of the situation in Gaza, and also to raise all-important funds for registered Palestinian charities. With this aim in mind, Party for Palestine
will have something of the old-fashioned village fete about it, with a charity auction, tombola, and cake stall all present and correct - there the similarity will end however, as the high standard of avant-garde music and performance will be anything but backwards-looking.
As well as raising funds, we are looking to stimulate debate and promote peaceful dialogue through open discussion. Everyone will be working and performing on a voluntary basis and we welcome you all to get involved and participate in whichever way you can. We need raffle prize donations/auctionable items, cakes for the cake stall, and if you have any other skills or ideas to contribute please get in touch.
