Pre-release première of this new Sex Pistols documentary, made by the author of Sid Vicious' biography, Alan Parker. The Sex Pistols remain cult music and cultural icons, and the myth still remains unsolved surrounding the death of Nancy Spurgeon, controversial girlfriend of Sex Pistol bassist, Sid Vicious. Nancy was found in a hotel room stabbed to death in 1978 and media speculation whipped up a frenzy at the time accusing Sid Vicious of the murder. The case never went to trial and Sid died from a heroine overdose (only 21 years old) in 1979. Alan Parker attempts to conduct his own investigations into the mystery and solve the murder case himself... he says
“I have strong views on Sid And Nancy so I wanted to make the ultimate, last word movie. It will be 100 minutes of facts and at the end we’re going to turn round and let the audience be the jury.”
