The Cube Cinema warmly welcomes Dia de Portugal and the 24th anniversary of Bristol/ Oporto twined cities. This cultural event will feature an authentic Portuguese traditional taste. There will be screened a short film about the "History of Fado", followed by live poetry by Portuguese Poet Fernando Messias. And finally live Fado, a dramatic and powerful singing expression hailing from the heart of Portugal, represents Love loss, lost fantasies... longing for Sailors and the Sea... A unique blend between the Blues and Spanish Flamenco. It will be performed by Claudia Aurora and Javier Moreno.
