The Heavy Heads Disco presents a double dose of instrumental freak out with a cornucopia of psychedelic sights and sounds. Featuring Saturation Point who’s mile high amp debauchery threatens to drag you back to the eye of the apocalypse. Their recently released début album “Three” is not the staple quiet-loud post rock dynamic; instead textured guitars cascade over liquid bass and sharp poly-rhythms meander fluidly. Moody,episodic, violent and reflective.
Saddar Bazaar blend sitar-blues-drone with tripped out psych-eastern patterns and textures. Often heady and dreamy, but always invigorating and uplifting, they possess a rhythmic impetus and a genuine mesmeric quality. Their sound has been likened to the ‘dynamic cover driven fuzz slide of Ry Cooder with the droning detachment of Spacemen 3’. The Heavy Heads DJ’s will be in the bar playing a fine and heavy selection of Blues, Rock, Garage Punk and Psychedelia.
