In a HINTERLAND far, far away there where two film schools, which are a kind of uber-KINDERGARTEN for existential ANGST driven boys and girls. One was in Potsdam and the other one in Cologne. And because they could do nothing else - in this land far, far away - than drive in brilliant cars up and down the AUTOBAHN, they had abundance of time to make really nice, quirky little films. This month you get the opportunity to get a intimate peak into what moves the German art-scene as the cube goes LICHTSPIELE. We present you on two days an insight of how German filmmakers see and express their surroundings (with the kind support of the HFF Potsdam and the KHM Cologne); plus a selection of international music-videos from the likes of THE BLOW and CASIOTONE FOR THE PAINFULLY ALONE courtesy of the German music label Tomlab on the occasion of their 10th anniversary.
