The Cube is proud to be hosting the fourth in a series of Terrastock Tea Parties. The event this time includes the first public performance by Richard Youngs and Alex Neilson in England. Although they started playing as a free-rock drum and guitar duo as long ago as 2003. Witness Neilson's mind-blowingly blistering percussion melding seamlessly with Youngs' gorgeously e-bowed and distorted guitar work.
Also on the bill is Motor Ghost, a duo formed of Alex Neilson and Ben Reynolds. Channelling Free Jazz energies and incorporating the transcendent beauty of Britain's indigenous folk melodies, they create a fiery music to quench the soggy spirit of our times.
Team Brick creates an evocative, resonant and mysterious body of work that offers a half-glimpse into an intriguing world of its own.
Founded in 1997, the Terrastock festivals have become legendary in the USA for bringing together the cream of the underground and new bands poised on the brink of obscurity.
