After almost twenty years of small-screen adventures, the subversive
suburbanites from Springfield finally make a yellow splash on the big-screen. Losing neither none of the satiric bite or the comic beats of the TV series, the Cinemascopic Simpsons experience lives up to the expectations of such a long wait – religion is challenged, environmental issues are addressed and, perhaps most surprisingly of all, Ned Flanders comes out as a fairly regular guy.
