Sons of Heavy Heads present: A Tribute to The Blues featuring The Blues Devils (Thu 17th / 8pm / £4)

The origin of blues is not unlike the origins of life. For many years it was recorded only by memory, and relayed only live and in person. Therefore to pay tribute to the foundation of modern rock it would only be fitting for the Sons of Heavy Heads to present a night of live music alongside their traditional trip through documentary and archive footage. Exploding the electric voodoo on stage will be local legends The Blues Devils, a savage, squalling electric band dedicated to dragging the blues into the 21st Century, followed by the film and the effervescent vibrations of the Heavy Heads DJs in the bar.
