NIP – New Interfaces for Performance is a practical, artist-led workshop and touring event across three European cities, Bristol, Amsterdam and Lisbon. This is the closing party for the weekend's activites and features performances by local artists working in the field of new interfaces, including Tom Bosanquet (UK) and Matt Olden + Jungulator (UK) with tunes in the bar provided by DJ Placid (UK).
The first NIP event will be in Bristol between 30th March-1st April 2006 at Watershed, Arnolfini and The Cube. A selection of artists from the UK, Netherlands and Portugal will give workshops and performances exploring the practices, techniques and technologies used to create new media work.
