After 20 years of radical intervention through theatre and dialogue, Reboot The Roots enters its final cycle.

You are cordially invited to celebrate the life of this movement through becoming radically present with death - our own, each other’s, and the worlds we are living through.

Using Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed, this workshop explores life, death, grief, care, community and transformation.

To keep everyone safe, please stay home if you have a new cough, sore throat, fever, or other symptoms of any kind of contagious illness. 

Be mindful if you’ve been around someone who is sick in the week leading up to the workshop - e.g if your housemate currently has Covid or Flu, please sit this one out. 

The Cube has gender neutral toilets and a disabled toilet. 

We’ll have a resting space in the workshop with big cushions and blankets. 

The Cube is regrettably not wheelchair accessible as there are many steps required to get in the building and between the different levels inside.

About the facilitator:

Serge is a practitioner of Theatre of the Oppressed, writer, performance poet, and natural farmer who is a member of the Ulex Project's trainer network. He is also the founder of the training collective Reboot The Roots and has extensive experience facilitating education in fields ranging from TESOL and drama therapy to drug rehabilitation and conflict resolution. 

Reboot the Roots is a charity that promotes social inclusion through the arts, using theatre, music, and workshops to support socially excluded individuals, including those recovering from addiction or living with HIV/AIDS, stateless and homeless people.
