Talismanic pure hearted music making from Matt “MV” Valentine and Erika “EE” Elder, who have formulated a modern-ancient cosmic-blues universe of sound via their own Vermont-based Child of the Microtones imprint. Live they play constantly shifting urban-rural meditations with percussion vibrations, raga like drifts and killer bluesy woozy wig-outs.
They are a duo of intense natural goodness, who have been constantly expanding horizons with their music as Tower Recordings, The MV & EE Medicine Show and The Bummer Road in recent years. They arrive in Bristol with an album release on Thurston Moore’s Ecstatic Peace dropping around the same time. Hear fascinating songs structures morph with extended improvisations on folk blues classics. Fragile but shamanic and zoned.
Thoughtforms came together in mid-2004 to make beautiful, noisy love and are burning post-post rock from the Wiltshire via Terrastock.
